Riding Lessons for Children

We offer a wide range of lessons, including private and group lessons for children 4 years up. See more details and book below.

Please note: Whilst we are able to cater for riders with some special needs, we are not a ‘Riding for the Disabled’ (RDA) centre. Please contact the centre to discuss any needs you, or your child may have.

4 to 6 Year Olds

    Private 30-Minute Lessons

    £45 per lesson or buy 10 lessons (£450) get 1 free

    We offer private lead-rein lessons for 4 to 6 year olds. These lessons are available throughout the week.

    Tiny Tots

    £65

    Available Mondays to Fridays throughout all school holidays, these sessions include one 45-minute riding session and one 45-minute pony pampering session.

6 to 12 Year Group Lessons

    These lead-rein lessons give the opportunity to ride and interact with other children of a similar level.

    The intermediate group lessons are suitable for riders who are off the lead rein and can walk and trot independently.

    These lessons are suitable for riders who are able to walk, trot, and canter independently.

    Build confidence and skill in jumping with our fun and supportive prep lessons for young riders.

    Group Hack

    11am & 2:30pm daily

    Enjoy a 45-minute hack in the wonderful ancient woodland of Trent Country Park. Riders are required to be able to walk, trot, and canter independently in order to join the hack.

    The individual lead-rein lessons are totally focused on the rider’s needs. They are ideal for riders wishing to progress from one level to another, for those less confident riders or riders with specific goals.
